WFE Launches Educational Programme For Emerging Markets

The World Federation of platforms (WFE), the global body representing platforms and clearing houses, has announced the launch of its Emerging & Developing Markets Educational Programme (EDMEP). This initiative is designed to strengthen financial market infrastructure and expertise in frontier, emerging, and developing economies (EDMs). Through a mix of theoretical instruction and practical examples, the programme aims to assist participants understand and address the challenges of building resilient and efficient markets.
The EDMEP consists of workshops and webinars that deliver both foundational and advanced knowledge of capital markets. The programme expands WFE’s educational portfolio, complementing its Market Infrastructure Certificate, which is now in its third year.
