Strategy Buys 850 BTC Worth $100M as Total Holdings Reach 639,835 BTC

Strategy Inc. (formerly MicroStrategy), led by Michael Saylor, disclosed the purchase of 850 additional last week for $99.7 million at an average price of $117,344 per BTC.
According to an with the on Monday, the purchases were made between Sept. 15 and Sept. 21 using proceeds from at-the-market (ATM) sales of its Class A common stock, MSTR, and perpetual Strife preferred stock, STRF.Â
The company’s total BTC holdings now reach worth roughly $72 billion at an average acquisition price of $73,971 per BTC. Strategy’s total BTC reserve accumulation cost approximately $47.3 billion, including fees and expenses,  the company’s co-founder and executive chairman, Michael Saylor.
This move follows a streak of consistent weekly acquisitions, maintaining Strategy’s dominance as the global corporate leader in BTC reserves. Strategy now controls approximately 3% of BTC’s maximum 21 million supply, with a recorded $25 billion in paper gains.
