Emergency Assistance in Malaysia’s Kelantan
Devastating floods that affected ten states and displaced over 147,000 people occurred in Malaysia in December 2024. Over 93,000 people were displaced in the state of Kelantan, which was the most severely affected.
Octa acted swiftly, supporting the provision of clean water, food, blankets, towels, hygiene supplies, and necessary household equipment to impacted households.

Encouraging Indonesian Literacy
In some regions of Indonesia, where far too many kids struggle with basic reading skills, illiteracy is still a significant hardy. Octa provided support for the “I Love Reading” initiative, which encourages literacy among elementary school pupils, in order to address this.
