Monark and Apex Fintech to Bring Private Markets to Retail Investors
Breaking Down Barriers to Private Markets
The collaboration brings together the flexible API infrastructures of both firms, combining Monark’s Alts Marketplace with Apex’s AscendOS clearing, custody, and trading ecosystem. This integration allows hundreds of brokerages and advisory firms in to millions of retail investors.
Beginning in late Q4 2025, accredited investors in the Apex network will be able to companies such as SpaceX, Perplexity, and Stripe through single-asset Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). Minimum investments begin as low as $5,000, and transactions can be funded accounts, eliminating the need for new account setups or fund transfers.

Through the will be embedded alongside public equities and ETFs within standard brokerage accounts. This innovation streamlines the traditionally complex process of accessing private markets — from allocations and due diligence to SPV structuring — into a click-to-invest experience.

While the Pre-IPO market will be the first asset class available, Monark and Apex plan to expand into other private asset categories, including private equity funds, private credit, real estate, sports teams, and infrastructure. The goal is to broaden investor across a wider spectrum of alternative assets.
