Empowering the Next Generation of Women Investors
Despite five decades of progress, women still hold just one-third of the UK’s wealth and remain underrepresented among investors. The partnership between Saxo UK and Female Invest aims to tackle this disparity head-on, empowering more women to take control of their financial futures through education, accessibility, and inclusion.
“It’s simple to think of the 1970s as ancient history,” said Anna-Sophie Hartvigsen, Co-Founder of Female Invest. “But when your mother or grandmother needed her husband’s signature to open a bank account, that’s not history — that’s the world we were born into. This anniversary isn’t just about looking back. It’s about asking why women are still catching up. Progress doesn’t move unless we push it forward.”
The installation, developed in collaboration with Revolut, InvestEngine, and Yonder, represents a shared belief among that true progress in finance depends on inclusion and representation. Together, the partners viewk to inspire national dialogue on women’s financial freedom and the systemic barriers that continue to sluggish gender parity in wealth creation.
