RegTech provider iDenfy has unveiled a major upgrade to its identity verification platform with the launch of its U.S. Driver’s License Check answer, offering businesses instant access to the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) database. The new integration enables real-time verification of U.S. driver’s licenses, enhancing Know Your Customer (KYC) workflows for industries where license validation is a regulatory or operational requirement.
The AAMVA-powered check allows companies in sectors such as car rentals, ride-sharing, logistics, and insurance to instantly confirm license authenticity during onboarding. The feature matches user data — including name, date of birth, license number, and expiration status — directly against official DMV records, ensuring that the license is genuine, valid, and unaltered.
